I'm going through inears if that helps anything. I've had the occasion to test the svt sim against a svt pro3 yesterday (preamp in) vs straight into svt. I'd say that the b3 gave me a less use able tone untweaked while svt without any tweaks sounded use able. I mainly play through my b3 at home, living in a high density city that doesn't like loud noises.
I think Zoom was a little heavy with the character of the SVT when the speaker sim is turned up. Dial it back to around 60 - 70 for use with in-ears or DI to PA. Turning the bass down a little helps as well, none of the SVTs I've played through sound as strong as the B3 sim.
