Zoom B3 multi-effects part 2

I'm getting to explore it as a practice tool more as well - the ability to connect it to the computer and play MP3s through it is really helpful. And when I want to practice a song to a set BPM, I find the drum patterns more useful than a metronome.

Thanks guys! Yeah it was the pre/post button... I actually have another question for youtube videos with it. I wanted to start recording bass covers, when I have the b3 hooked up through the USB I can run the headphones and hear my bass and the song I choose on my PC. When I hit record though it only picks up the bass signal(even though I still hear wmp running). Any ideas? I'm open to any open source suggestions.

So you want to record the signal from the B3, and also the song playing through it?

Yes.

The B3 will record direct and is acting as the computer's mic/headphone which is a bit of the dilemma. If it's acting as the mic how do I record anything else with it. The regular laptop mic is pretty noisy so I'd prefer not to run amp and auxillary speaker from laptop. Trying to record as clean as possible.

I was wondering how close this comes to simulating the SABDDI? I tend to use the fat tube sound but rpll off treb an bass a bit in an attempt to punch the mids. I like the idea of using this pedal and not the sans amp. Many more features.

Thanks

Chris

My guitarists and drummer are Sansamp BDDI nuts and love the things. They didn't know I was using the Zoom instead the other day.

I am in love with mine. I want a second. I no longer haul around a pedal board.
