I don't know what zoom was thinking with this, the 708 I had was better. This sounds awful !

I'll say this - I'm looking for a volume pedal and, out here, I can't get a decent one that's cheaper than a B1xon! Plus, it's got a little looper too - these two things as of themselves make it worth the price - not even talking of the effects here. The MS70CDR has some more than decent models, so, considering it's the same FX engine, I'm led to believe there must be at least a couple of useful ones in this as well.
Sadly, they've sold like such absolute hot cakes here that they've been out of stock for more than 6 weeks at each and every outlet![]()

IMHO, Zoom have hit pay-dirt with this generation of processors and packages. The only fly in the ointment is the MS-60B which looks like a dead duck compared to the others - many of the more interesting/original effects are missing and it is crippled by the 4-effects-per-chain limit(!). Once you have found a comp/limit, drive/boost/EQ and amp for your basic tone there is not much room left for creative thought.
To the OP - DON'T GIVE UP.
I have to disagree. The MS-60B in conjunction with an MS70-CDR worked much better for me than the B1on.
That's fine, but the OP has a B1X-on, so I was trying to offer some encouragement. I think the form factor of the MS series is great and, like you, I have two - in my case the MS-50G and MS-100BT. The 'fly in the ointment' was a reference to the 4-effect limit of the 60B and lack (to date) of firmware updates/effect additions, compared to the 50 and 100 which offer 6 effects per chain and 100 models out of the box.
Fair enough. Though I have also had the MS-100BT and found it often over exceeded it's theoretical limit. Same with the B1on. Still, the processing power increase we are getting every few years is amazing.
