Zoom H2 score: question

I scored a new H2 in an opened box deal for $185 today, and have been playing around with it a bit.

I have a G-K 700RB-II, and am trying to take a line out from it to the H2 via an instrument cable to an 1/8" adapter into the H2. I've tried taking it from the effects send and the tuner send jacks on the amp, but no luck. What am I doing wrong?

Does that matter? My adapter is 1/4" stereo to 1/8" mono.

Try this, take a normal insert cable, get a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter (stereo) and plug the "stereo"-part of the insert cable to the zoom, then plug in one of the mono plugs to your line out on the amp.

If that works, then zoom doesn't like joined mono for some reason.

Just a longshot m8, if it works, it works.

;)
