Mine just arrived last night! What are you're fave bass and non-bass effects? Also, any recommendations from the stomp share store? I'm a noob at effects and I don't think I'll actually use it on stage but who knows? I'm also interested in using it for making sfx for short films.

I've purchased a bunch of interesting, fun reverbs and echo effects to play around with on guitar and vocals too. (I like shoegaze music.)
eg. Reverse Reverb, Shimmer, etc.
I finally bit the bullet and picked one up. My 60b's aren't going anywhere, and I still think they are a solid buy for any bass player, but I'm very happy with this 100bt. I agree with @OzzyGreg's assessment...I love it and think it def has enough to offer over the 60b to warrant the extra cash. Though it's living on my fun board, out of the box I would have no problem using this on my main gig board in the 60b's place, even before downloading any extra effects. Fuzz sounds are better, it has more and better chorus/flange/phase/reverb options, and some effects actually sound better than the 60b counterparts...the octave is more growly, the big muff isn't as harsh and the Monosynth sounds awesome on bass. In addition to the handful of bass amp sims in the store app, there are several crazy cool strymon and eventide models for free. I thought before I would need to buy a lot of extra effects, but that doesn't seem to be the case now.
Yeah, it can. You don't just port over the same code into an Android-friendly housing. It would be a whole other product with possibly a separate development team or...more likely...outside agency (aka very expensive). Then you add Bluetooth into the mix and it gets even more technical and complex. Then there's the business side. Zoom has proven that the bar is very high for a project to get prioritized, and it doesn't surprise me that an app, something that's not in their core competency, isn't treated the same as other products in their portfolio.
I do understand being upset that there's no solution for Android users, but consider at the time they originally built this app, Samsung and others hadn't caught up to the iPhone capability. "Back then" (ha!) you bought an Android if you wanted to tinker with an operating system. You bought an iPhone if you wanted to use Apps instead. The Android Market was the wild west where lots of apps just didn't work, so there wasn't the consistent user base that Apple had. Interestingly, the app is still sporting the same UI as the iPhone4, which is years old. It freezes quite a bit, too. If I had to guess, I'd say they paid someone to do the original build and never touched it again other than to fix critical bugs and release new effects (which is prob something simple as adding config files and a graphic, many of which may have existed all along). A business case was probably never made strong enough to either update the app design or create a new version for Android. All just conjecture, but it would make sense.
Yes @jumblemind, this does indeed make a lot of sense. Being myself also a programmer, who has also overseen quite large software engineering projects I would say that all your arguments are quite plausible.
Does any have a list handy of ALL the algorithms available for download? I don't own an iOS device so I can't see what's available.

Yeah, I have both the BT-100 and MS60-B. I would use my BT-100 for Bass if they would allow Android devices or PC or even my Mac Laptop to download the models. But I don't have the proper I-Device neither. I emailed them, and they gave me a big fat "Not Ever" would they allow any other options to download with other devices than they currently support.I still have mine for Guitar effects. I even was able to coax some similar settings to my MS60-B, but still not as good. It still baffles me that they refuse to see the benefit of selling their wares via Android. It can't cost that much to develop something that would support that.
Given how many people have android tablets or phones, and how cheaply you can get a second hand or even new one (£15 in the UK) you'd have thought Android only would have made more sense.

When I was searching on listing sites I found one and made a research about it. Last year Zoom made all effects in the app totally free so I decided to give a try.
Most amazing thing for me was Sansamp DI. I had one many years ago and I had to sell when I needed some money and was still sad about it. At first, I didnt believe that Sansamp simulation would perform as the real one but when I tried today I had tears of hapiness... It was the tone I was craving for years.
Nowadays I play with an electronic music band and I use the Sonuus i2m to trigger midi on Ableton with bunch of vst synths. I was thinking to use this pedal for variety of synth pedal effects but I figured out this pedal is more than that.
I really loved it so far.
It needs some innovation for future models like USB support and maybe bigger screen but its still usable which I’m planning to use it on live performances.

The MS100BT is indeed very cool but you might want to check out a Zoom MS60B with the updated sounds, there is a free user written program ToneLib that gives computer access for programming patches and storage and there is a mod available from Lizard Breath.
Sorry to ressurect an old thread, I'm just deciding whether to possibly get an MS60B or MS100BT. Just curious why OzzyGreg much prefers the MS100BT, as according to this it only has 44 bass effects...

Reviving this thread. Got a used one of these for like $90 cosmetically good and functional. Just using it into my combo amp as a practice tool. I have my Tech 21 Bass Fly Rig for live situations. A couple of the buttons are buggy but usable. I've owned the MS-60B, B3, B3n, etc. There's something about this thing that to my ears the models just sound better than the units I've mentioned. The Amp SIMS seem less "processed"? Is that the word? The Bass Muff sounds smoother to my ears and less intense. The bluetooth functionality is nice but other than updating to the final firmware version and just grabbing some bass models I wanted from the "store" it's pretty much not really a feature I need. I like this little unit. Sounds great and it's fun to just throw together a bunch of rigs without having to rewire, wire tie, velcro, etc.
The 100bt was my first MS pedal but as I am not an Apple user the BT function was useless. I really like being able to use the ToneLibZoom to access the MS60B and MS70cdr pedals that I use constantly ~ IME the best sound, size cost & solution for me.
