I'm considering somewhat the same setup. My idea is to create a few solid clean base tones with the 60B+, which should sound similar to my B6, to take with me if I need something small, but instead of a B1-4 I'll use my B6 for the additional looper/drum machine as well as to give my B6 room to create more complex patches. Not having to waste slots and DSP on a base tone in the B6 itself leaves me with quite a bit of extra DSP to play with. Gaining almost double the DSP for less than half the cost (and less than half the size) of a B6 is really a no-brainer for me.
Do you also have a B1-4? I'm very interested in hearing whether B6 and B2-4 users are finding the additional DSP on their multis is a definite step up in "sound" from the B1-4?
One aspect that might be noticeable is that some of my effects patches on my B1-4 are quite noisy, but I deal with that by using the ZNR (noise gate) sim as standard across most of my patches. If the ZNR is not needed on the B2-4 and B6 then that, in itself, is a good sign!
