Zoom MS-60B(+) in your signal chain

Zoom MS-60B users, where do you guys put this pedal in your signal chain? Before the preamp, in the fx loop, or just this pedal as you entire rig?

I know it's highly personal and anything goes, just curious how different people are using this pedal!

I owned/used the MS-60B in the past, however I switched over to the MS-CDR70+ not too long ago.

The CDR70+ is at the front of my signal chain, I use it as a tuner, noise gate, and compressor. It also does a pretty good job on Chorus effects IMO. I own a B3n which (if I had more room on my pedalboard) would go at the end. Chorus on it was pretty good, however I'd use it for amp models, end of chain compression, and Delay or Reverb.

They're great pedals IMO...even if people don't like the effects and such, packing a tuner and quality noise gate into one pedal is worth it IMO. The compression on it makes it a no-brainer for me.

Last. Use a little bit of reverb, or octave up for transcribing. The noise gate and compressors are useful too, as said above.

I don't really use much more than that. Too much knob twiddling required for my liking.

I have the MS-70CDR+ (I know, completely different animal) at the end of my chain, but that's just the nature of my chain--
EQ-->pitch->dirt-> Swello->IR ->MS-70CDR+

I can have it do modulation, reverb, filter, synth, all at the end, etc. For synth or env filter tracking, I suppose it's not ideal, but for my main purposes, it's ready for what I need. It's still a recent config, and I've not had time to dive in a see what's what, but that's my logic.

I generally use my MS60B at the end of the signal chain on a pedalboard as a preset, usually an amp sim plus room reverb, and any other 'always on' effects for a sound or song. It also serves as tuner and mute. My current gig board below for a funky jazz thing.
I have a MS60B+ on a stand alone board with a DI.

MS70CDR and CDR+ I use mainly for synth, keys, guitarish and also as a plug in effect on pretty much anything else.

Yeah I'm also considering it as a front of chain utility pedal (tuner, gate, comp, HPF). The option to add some extra effects like modulation or envelope or bass synth would just be a sweet extra to me.

Mine currently setup in parallel with 70cdr+, and in parallel or series with 80ir+. Parallel amp sims and/or parallel fx chains w 70+. It’s a really fun setup

I've been tinkering with my MS60B creating some new sounds, namely a couple inspired by Angine De P, mainly to joyfully annoy my bandmates.
