Zoom multieffect drive/dirt patch ideas wanted!

I got myself a Zoom B1on recently. I love it, but I can’t dial in a drive tone I like. What I’m looking for is a light overdrive that would kick in when I dig in, to use in front of my amp (so no cab simulation please).

Since all the Zoom multi share the same effects models (give or take a few), I think some of you could give me ideas.

Anyone ready to share some inspiring patches?

My favorite dirt on the 60b is the TS808 sim on low gain with blend favoring the clean signal.
Many have praised the results of pushing an amp sim with a drive pedal, so don't be quick to dismiss those as a possibility to finding what you need. You should be able to find plenty of ideas here:

My experience with cab simulation in front of my SVT is not good... maybe with the cab off...

Ok, I’m getting somewhere!

Using a bit of compressor, ts-808 at low gain with quite a lot of clean blend in the mix, the bb preamp at low gain with lots of clean blended in, then an parametric EQ, I’m getting a sound that is getting closer to what I’m looking for.
You are learning the ways of the force, young padawan. May the Zoom be with you that soon you discover the dark powers of the synth.

Funny!

Actually, I just didn’t take enough time tweaking a good drive tone. Still not sure if I prefer my analog overdrive pedal or the Zoom’s patch I’m working on. I’ll see!

As for synths, I haven’t worked on one yet, no immediate use. Made great envelope sounds though.

For recordings, I like using the metal zone model with the svt model. this gives me a unique metal bass sound. for live, I just use the metal zone model. no amp model needed. thank you for listing my thread. I have came up with a lot of patch ideas from there.

I always found the blend as the key to getting good dirt patches on the B1 and MS-60. It has been a while but I used the Rat most often with with the clean/dirty blend set fairly clean, usually under 15, but still getting a fair amount of drive coming through.
