Can anyone explain what the difference is in a Ray Brown Jazz Cello vs. a regular Kay Cello that has bass style tuners rather than standard cello tuners? I had found a vintage brochure that says the bass tuners were an option from Kay. I am trying to determine if mine is a Ray Brown version or not as it has bass tuners. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Frankly, the fEarless just stomps the GR. The Thunderchild is clearly better as a balanced "hi-fi" cabinet. The GR has the usual humps and bumps that
make it sound full, but it is, to me, a tailored sound and not an attempt to provide a flat response. The 212 is far better than the 112 in that sense and I think you'll like it.
