FS/FT - 1990 Wal Mk1 signed off by Pete Stevens – Curly Birdseye Maple facings, mahogany core, straight as an arrow hornbeam centerline neck, thin gloss factory refin on the body, just recently set up with DR HiBeams, plays and sounds perfectly, 8.5/10 cosmetically on the body, all hardware, pickups, preamp and output electronics function with no issues. Has red-lined Hiscox Liteflite case.
According to the folks at Wal their records show this bass was originally sold to the BassCentre in 1990, the person who bought this from them had a gloss finish done on the body after the fact at Wal.
Had a year bought it from an awesome TB'er and it’s by far the nicest thing I've ever owned or played, it’s been used on half a dozen recordings but I can’t bring myself to gig with it or run it through the paces daily. Would like to stick to having just one instrument and this one is just too nice to hammer on the way want to.
