This is the 40th bass Mike made in the MTD line. I bought it back in 1995 and am the original owner. It is an amazing bass, but I just don't play much any more. It's time to get this bass a new owner who will actually put it to good use.

Bartolini pickups & electronics (bass, mid, treble cut/boost with 3-way switch to select the mid frequency)

The only major wear on the bass is a small spot above one of the pickups where I rested my thumb. See picture.
Also, an interesting story about the neck: The bass was originally built with a Korina neck and Wenge fingerboard. After I had the bass for a few years, I pulled it out of the case one day and discovered the truss rod had broken through the back of the neck. I was shocked. I'd never made any adjustments to the rod - the setup was sweet from Mike's original work. I emailed Mike and he replaced the neck for free. We went with all Wenge for the neck/fingerboard on the replacement.
