Hi Brother Goose...I can't find the bass you are considering for the trade for the BassMods K6...can you send a picture? Where would I find what you are interested in trading? What mfg/model and color do you have? Let me know. Thanks.

I was joking that my local friend expressed interest and might let me 'babysit' her if she winds up in upstate NY. My only trade offering would be a 35" scale Warmoth Gecko 5 + cash + venison/grassfed beef. GLWTS!!!
Interested! Just purchased one from somebody here in SoCal and I'm wanting to make a "matching" set. (One will become fretless.) Bass Mods has informed me they are not making sixes anymore.
I saw your add on Harmoney Central.
I have three builds going on, Two are Warmoth and one is Frankenstein.
I want a K635 and I got the man to chamber it.
Where are you located? I want to drop down to an open A.
Preferred payments accepted are: cash, money order or cashier's check.
This is a 35" scale, 6-string Jazz bass with full 19mm wide string spacing.
I don't know of any other JAZZ style basses with 19mm string spacing.
Included in this posting are two of the actual videos used by BassMods that feature this actual bass...this is the actual bass in the videos.
Also included are 6 pictures of this bass 4 of them WITH the pickguard on, and one with the pickguard OFF. I do have the pickguard and it will be included with the bass, or, I can also put it back on before shipment if you like.
This bass is VERY articulate and punchy in the midrange region and cuts thru the live mix extremely well.
I use this bass exclusively for CLEAN punchy sounding songs and also some slap (it is GREAT FOR SLAP because it is the only 6-string JAZZ bass that has FULL, VERY WIDE 19mm string spacing at the bridge!).
This bass has the upgraded CUSTOM WOUND Reed James pickups (not the standard Kent Armstrong pickups that normally came with the bass).
Cosmetic condition: 9.5 out of 10. No scratches, dings, etc.
The only reason I de-rate it to 9.5 is because one of the pots (the double stacked, midrange sweep pot) has regions where the bottom half pot does not seem to alter the tone except towards the full "on" position...but it may just be a dirty pot or something. That is why I am knocking off about $75 from what these are normally selling for online used.
I am also willing to trade this bass for a Sire Marcus Miller V7 (5 string).
If you want to hear this actual bass guitar, then:
There are 2 different videos you can watch on YouTube. These two videos were created and used by the Bass Mods company using this very bass...this is the actual bass in the videos. they used this actual bass in their promo videos.
Go to YouTube and then cut/paste each of the two links into YouTube (and hit enter) and you will be taken directly to the demo video(s).
My Luthier is working on this red bass and we may be able to work a trade. Specs are: Bass Mods roaster maple neck EMG pups and EMG 3band eq. Five controls. The body is swamp ash. I want a six and I have four five string basses so maybe we can swing a trade. What state are you in?
