I have a M2500 Alder/Rosewood that I am currently gigging and enjoying. My love for maple necks makes me pause however to look at this one.

It’s really a great bass. I really hate to see it go but I made a knee jerk purchase of another bass (of course, damn the GAS) and now I have to pay for it.

Had a question about the K swithing. It didn’t come factory with it. It’s something I added later. Here’s a pic of the control cavity after I did the mod.

And, as with a lot of G&L’s, the build sheet doesn’t show that it has a quarter sawn neck. But it most certainly does. It even has some flame to it!
