Medium Scale ( 32.0 ") with Jazz bass ( 1.5") nut width.
Set up with double quick-release tailpiece to allow fast, easy and non-destructive string changes. Excellent when you want a quick-change, and its dual tailpiece is designed to allow you to use either medium scale OR long scale strings interchangeably. It is strung now with Rotosound long scale black nylon flatwounds (Trubass 88)



Brand New! Just built from USA parts:

Rock Maple neck from Eden in California.
Poplar body with textured finish from a luthier just south of Chicago.
EMG-X Active pickup from California.
All other hardware from ALLPARTS in Texas.

Includes a very nice gig bag (see pics)

I love the look of this thing. If the pickup set were standard J I think I'd be all over it to complete the tone set, cause I already have a P and an active 4, both medium scale! =0)

By request: here are tracings done with my contour gauge...all in all that's a bit slimmer than a traditional jazz bass (which runs typically 22.1mm@1 up to 25.4 mm@12)...

It's not as slim as a "Geddy Lee" Jazz, though ( I happen to have a GL neck here, and it runs 19.1mm@1 up to 22.7mm@12)
