This is a FEELER post...I dig this bass, but it's just not exactly what I want. I purchased this right after the NAMM show directly from Jake Serek.
This is his Lincoln model, 32" scale, swamp ash body, maple / rosewood neck, dual Serek Single Coil pickups with a rotary 4 way selector switch - series / parallel / neck / bridge, one volume and one tone knob. Comes with strap locks.
From the Serek site:
The Serek Singles are full-range, single coil bass pickups with a tone all their own.
Wound individually, each set is specifically calibrated. The bridge pick is hot and fat with enough mids and highs to slice through a mix. The neck pickup is slightly underwound to have a more scooped, bell tone with crystal highs and pillowy lows.
They are handmade in standard size humbucker shells.
Bass weighs a bit over 7 pounds and plays easily. Comes is a fantastic Serek Gig Bag.
I'm looking to sell, but will also entertain a trade. I'll also do a trade + cash depending on what you have. I'll only entertain trades under 9 pounds.
Cash sale is $2000 obo, Trade value is $2200 firm. I paid more than that for this bass and it's quality all the way.
