Details

For sale is my beautiful Candy Apple Red Roscoe Beck IV. The Bill Lawrence pickups are punchy and versatile, way more than my Fender American Jazz. This thing is a beast and looks great. Has the power of an active bass but the pure tone of a passive. In very nice condition aside from some swirl mark and a few surface scratches. I tried to take detailed pics of the cosmetic imperfections. The spring on the E-string bridge has been removed for intonation purposes but since the bridge has a locking screw this has not bothered me. Spring is included along with the rest of the case candy and very sturdy G&G case. I don't have the keys for the case. Weighs between 9 and 9.25 using the luggage scale method.

$1450 USD shipped to CONUS. West of Mississippi add $25 for shipping. PayPal accepted.

Nice! I played one of these for the first time at Gruhn’s about 7 months ago. It may have been the all-around best Fender I ever played, and it was not anywhere near as good a deal as this one. I don’t think you need it, but GLWTS!

Thanks, it is definitely different than a regular Fender Jazz. The note depth is much punchier.

These are superb. I had one, but gave it up upon realizing I'm a five-string guy, and didn't feel right warehousing such a great bass. Sadly, I don't dig the neck on the RB V, but the 4-string is a knockout - and that red finish is my favorite look. Whoever gets this will be very happy - GLWTS!

I have RB IV same as the one listed above. This is absolute killer bass and I get positive comments on both tone and transparent red finish. If it was honey burst I would be all over it. I totally agree with those who claim this is one of the best models made by Fender and IMO better than some custom shop basses.
