Another beautiful bass that I hardly have time to play.

This is a "one of a kind" custom built Dragonfly CS 5/345, made by Harry's Engineering in Tokyo Japan. I actually own three of these basses and they are of the highest quality I have come across. Every part of these basses is crafted with care and tremendous attention to detail.

This one is a 34.5" scale with a 1 7/8" nut. It has 17.5 mm string spacing and it weighs in (on my digital scale) at a very comfortable 8 pounds 7.8 ounces.

If you prefer wider string spacing, I will include an additional bridge and nut that were specifically setup and cut to give this bass 18.5 mm string spacing. I prefer the narrower spacing but not everyone does!

The pickups are custom single coils with beautiful wood covers. The custom preamp is an active 3 band with master volume that works in both active and passive modes.

The body is lightweight Ash and the neck is three piece maple. The neck is very stable with perfect relief and phenomenal fret work. The truss rod works as it should.

All in all, a beautiful bass with no issues of any kind. It will ship in a Gruv Gear gig bag.

Shipping is included in the CONUS. Thanks for looking!

Any interest in trades?
Not really looking for trades. But, if you have something to offer up please open a private conversation with me. The only things I might consider would be lightweight 5 string basses with "some" cash coming my way. Thanks for your interest.

That is beautiful! The edges and the little sculpting near the bridge is amazingly similar to what I did on my home-made bass about 12 years ago.

Oh man so tempting. Beautiful bass!
Yes, it really is. The body is VERY resonant. You can really feel it against your body when you play it unplugged! I'll miss it, but like I said, I have two other Dragonfly basses so I really should pass this one on. Although I am tempted to just keep it. Grab it before I change my mind........Ha!

It has been brought to my attention by a couple of "perspective buyers" that there appears to be some "pitting" in the finish on the bridge. There is indeed some minor pitting in the chrome around the B and E string saddles. The bridge is certainly not "rusting out" as one suggested. I never really paid much attention to it myself but I guess this realization technically make the bass less than "Mint".

Also there are a few minor indentation on the bottom edge of the body that you can feel, but they are really hard to see. I actually didn't even notice them until I did a more through inspection.

My apologies to those who might have thought I was trying to mis-represent the condition of this bass. That was never my intention......
