If you’re looking for a Modern sound with a warm underbelly to cut through, then this is it. I just picked up an MBD 5 that has this area covered for me. Not really motivated to sell as this was a keeper for me. I bought the neck for an Aztec Gold P bass but didn’t really work out so on a whim I put it on this Reggie Hamilton that was on its way out and damn if it didn’t bring it to life. The 3 band Bart electronics, with 3 way mid toggle, as well as the older PJ Bart set pulled from a 1992 Warwick. I believe these to be original 8S and 9J passive pickups. It is just magical with this neck. The feel of this neck is amazing. I believe it is the only aluminum neck that was made with a wood neck in mind. The Sperzel tuners are awesome as well. The board is carbon fiber. Easy access all the way up the neck.
