Details

Offering a late 70's Fender/Fullerton EV15 loaded cab. $400.

Cab works as expected and sounds great. The tolex is in very clean condition, the speaker grill has some minor wear but not torn, and pretty great looking considering its age.

Due to the weight and size of the cabinet, I would really prefer a local sale (let's say 50mile radius from San Francisco). I will consider shipping at the buyers expense but will prioritize local sales. I am not considering international sales at this time.

Here is a basic pic of the Cab. If there is some specific detail you'd like to see, please let me know and I'll try to accommodate it.

it has come to my attention that I posted this amp/cab as For Sale/Trade. My mistake. I am trying to downsize my gear collection and am not interested in trades/new gear at this time. I have fixed the listing.

thanks!

That Studio Bass is definitely a looker. I've been using a Yamaha B-100-II a lot lately, which is a very similar, albeit solid-state, circuit. Fender passive tone stack into a 5-band active EQ.

Do you know offhand how much the head weighs?

I want to say its around 47lbs, but I can weigh it this weekend to nail that down exactly. It is a full tube, big iron amp after all, so it's definitely not a lightweight.
I can say that it's much lighter than an SVT. I once heard someone say that it was "2/3 of an SVT at 1/2 the weight" :)

on edit: weighs in at 46.2lbs on my digital scale
is the back of the cab open like on the originals?

The cab does have a slot port on the bottom of the front baffle, which can be seen the the picture in the first post.

I'm I correct in assuming the cabinet is a version of EV's TL-606 design?
hey sorry @hbarcat, I missed your post and question. I honestly don't know if the cab is based on the TL606 design. I can say that it's pretty big for a 1x15, so quite a bit of air for the driver to work in. Very old-school sounding cab. ... that paper cone, tweeter-free 1x15 sound. Gets loud too for a single driver cab ... pushes a lot of air.

The EV loaded cab is still available. Price is as low as it's going to get, so if you're interested let me know.
thanks
