For sale only is a tone monster of a RB650 with an upgraded wiring harness. Now wired V/B/T with new CTS pots and a Sprague .047 orange cap that a fellow TB’er made for me. Upgraded badass style bridge. Frets are in great shape, comes with a Fender gig bag and 2 pic guards. Original wiring harness and bridge included. Highly recommend a setup since it’s been sitting unplayed in my closet for numerous months.

Lol gotcha! I was about to buy a tort blank to make a new pg for mine, but having never done it before, I'm not sure how well that's gonna go hahaha. Keep me in mind, thanks!!

They're definitely original. I've seen the ones with sure grips, and the catalog references I've found say sure grips, but this one, mine, and others you can find pics of, have these same black bakelites. It MIGHT be the 1984 first version or something?

I had one of these one time and it was one of the best basses I’ve ever owned. Sitting on ‘59 and ‘74 original P basses, a Lakland J and a Roscoe 5-string, and still miss that one. Somebody buy this, you won’t be disappointed by an Ibby from this era!
