I just got this brand-new Sandberg TM5 Superlight from Thomann after a 3-month wait. It weighs an incredible 6 lbs. 4 oz., and I’ve already paid customs fees and taxes. While I might end up liking it, I’m considering moving it while it’s still in pristine, brand-new condition.

If you’re interested, feel free to reach out. I’d also be open to a trade for a Sadowsky Metroline under 8 lbs.

The Sandberg custom order I recently received after an 18+ month wait weighs around 8 pounds and every time I pick it up I'm thinking: "Damn, it's like it's helium-filled!" so, 6 pounds, 4oz??? Forget about it. GLWTS

Hey everyone,

This is a nice bass, and I've played it about 10 times in public. I added some fret inlay stickers that can be removed. I love the weight, but I don't think I'm bonding with this instrument. I'm leaning toward selling it; if interested, PM me.

Hey everyone,

I’m ready to sell. Make me an offer. Save yourself the weight and the wait and buy mine.

If you want to trade, I’ll consider:

1). Sadowsky Will Lee 5 Metroline
2). Kinal MK5B (depending on specs)
3). Devon bass (depending on specs)
4). Sukop bass (depending on specs)
5). MTD Saratoga or 534 (long shot and would offer a 2 for one trade deal including my Maruszczyk)

My ideal instrument to trade for is a jazz style bass 8 lbs. or less. What I don’t want is a factory made instrument unless it is of higher quality.

Does the glue sticks after removal ?
Beautiful piece btw!
The fingerboard ones should be easy to remove and no residue, but even if there is a little bit it will clean off as there is a finish on the fingerboard. Actually if I keep the bass (not intending to) I will be removing them next time I change strings. The one on the body near the pickup comes with the bass from Sandberg but I would be careful with removing it due to the finish and soft wood.
