STR LS549, Flame Walnut top cap over Walnut Body, Three piece maple neck with Ebony fretboard. There are two little dings on headstock (see pics) - they could probably be filled and smoothed over to make less noticeable, but they really aren't that big. Has some really nice wood on headstock / volute, great design.

Switched out to a new OBP3 Aguilar pre, I also have original Bartolini as well which will be provided. I should note that the Bartolini pre had the 3 position switch, the Aguilar has a 2 position switch. I got the Aguilar OBP Pre and wired harness from (FTB) Fat Bass Tone. I changed the preamp because the stacked pot was wonky, too loose, no friction, in retrospect I should have just replaced that, but you'll get both preamps. No new drilling or anything like that was done. Will ship in its rectangular rigid soft case in a box. I added a pic of the bass in the soft case, it's a good soft case.

Backstory - I bought here on TB, maybe third to own. I used it for awhile but after I changed pre, used less. It's a great bass, and the Fodera of Japan moniker is somewhat true. Just check out the Danny M. videos. Luggage scale says it comes in at 8.8 lbs, but it feels heavier than that to me. I just had a chance to re-weigh via bathroom scale method and it's coming in between 10.1 and 10.3 lbs. This seems more accurate.
String spacing is 19mm (3.4")

Thanks for checking it out! -A

Not sure, If I were selling I'd post up at $2500.00. I may change status to For Sale anyway, I'm guessing folks are just too unfamiliar with these. I'll give it a day or two.

Fantastic bass. I've almost bought this bass several times over the years. Always wished it was 18mm instead of 19mm. Some previous sellers have some pretty good videos so you can hear it. It sounds spectacular. Just an FYI - Previous owners list the weight around 10 lbs.

Could be my luggage scale isn't that accurate, I'lll try to add a picture later.

Just FYI, these basses are fantastic.
Thought about moving mine on a couple of times and so glad I didn’t.
Someone will be very happy.
GLWTS.

Yes, it is! I still need to re-weigh per comments in the add chain though, haven't had chance.

Hi Jim, Not really, I just bought bought a used EBMM Stingray special off TB here (the one with the cracked and repaired headstock-I wanted more of an entry price point beater to try out). It's color is Dropped Copper, but honestly I think that color you have is more like dropped copper, The Dropped copper (my bass) is too red IMO, but I love the Stingray, never really played one before - and well, that's decades!. I'm not really into the Bongo Aesthetic, but I hear they sound good. Fwiw, not really a lot of interest on the STR, so keep checking back. "I think" I bought a White fender jazz from a ways back, it's moved on, but now I wish I kept it, maybe not - did you work for NFL films or something like that? Cheers, Andy

No worries Andy, I found an STR singlecut 5 to trade for so I am good. GLWTS or trade :) And thanks for the consideration! And while I did work for onsite for ABC News in the 80's (what a job!!) I've never worked for NFL films. I did cover Olympics though :)

And again, to anyone wondering, if you are sleeping on an STR, you are making a mistake! These are awesome basses at great prices. Try one!

So it has 19mm spacing? For some reason I thought I remembered this one having 18mm spacing. Let me know, thanks!

I'll try to take a pic with ruler on it and post here. Also, I took off the fretboard dots previous Bassman put on, just fyi for those seeing one pic with and one without.
