Alright. Not sure if I want to do this but here we are.

I'll have to do some research on the serial number but I picked this up in a local trade deal a couple of years ago while waiting for the right SVT to pop up. Once I got this, I never looked at another Ampeg.

This thing is minty. And a beast. A minty beast. I've cranked it a couple of times, just to see how it feels, and it feels massive. Just for esses and gees, I ran a triple stack of Orange cabs when I was shooting them out with my Mesa Subway cabs. It's insane, but I'm completely committed to my Mesa heads, too.

I have a very nice padded Tuki cover for the head. The cheapest one I could find on Reverb was $1200 + $300 shipping and it was missing the badge. I have no idea what it would cost to ship this thing but $300 seems very excessive. I just recently shipped out a Mesa Subway 210 and it was just shy of $100. I can't imagine this would be much different at 5lbs heavier but dimensionally smaller. Pirate Ship FTW.

Local deals win preference. Trade wise, I'm always interested in basses, but my collection is pretty full. I would really like to net a Mesa B800D plus some cash, but I haven't seen many people going the other direction. If you really want to get crazy and you're local, I have an Orange OBC210 I could add to this. Just add a bass and you're gonna blow ish up.

Short trade list:

The right Peavey T40
Aluminum necks
Yamaha BBP35
Mesa B800D
Neural Cortex mini

Here's the copy from Traynor:

YBA300

300 Watt Tube Bass Head

The all-tube Traynor YBA300 300-watt bass head has been designed from the ground up to be the ultimate high-power head for the working musician. Built for unmatched reliability in real world heavy-use touring environments, the designers of the YBA300 understand how important it is to make sure your amp is ready for action every night.
Highly effective and straightforward tube bias adjust with clear and concise LED display ensure any player can easily adjust pairs of the YBA300s power tubes without fear. LED indicators on the rear of the amp show proper tube function and status. In rare cases where a tube may fail, the YBA300 will lock out the problem tube and its partner, allowing the amp to finish the show on the remaining active tubes. LED display clearly shows which tube needs service.
The stock YBA300 ships with twelve hand-selected and tested 6L6 power tubes, delivering a truly classic hi-fi smooth tube tone. For players looking for a more aggressive bass sound, the stock 6L6 tubes can be easily changed to any high quality EL34 tube set and be re-biased in the field, making the YBA300 essentially two amps in one versatile chassis.

Hey, cool gearI am interested in your head! You wouldn’t be interested in an even trade for an all tube Mesa Boogie 400+ would you? If so let me know and I’ll send you pictures!
Peace, DAcat

Oh, dear God. That is the exact opposite direction I want to go.

Let me think real hard about that one.

The YBA 300 is so awesome. Look at all of those tubes. If I ever move one of my band's rehearsals to my house, it'd be super sick to have an all tube head on top of my Barefaced Super Twin T. Unfortunately, if I go that route, I need a drum kit first. And a PA. And some basic soundproofing. And some basic..........money. :crying::crying::crying:
