(dead mint - i cant sell brand new thing here, and this particular deadmint = take out from box and change string once, and displayed in friend gathering once, thats all)

I can't find anything about "rose of mountain" wood. Is that Brazillian rosewood?

Hehe, funny story, I was all ready to buy this, but I am taking my GF and her mother to Australia next year so I thought I should probably be responsible with my money. However, I though I might was well run it past the GF to see if she thought it would be an okay purchase and said in the email, the price dropped by $500 so its a bargain. She says, well its not so unreasonable so if you want it go for it. I was all ready to go and then I thought I'd think about it over night. We were talking at dinner about how I hadn't pulled the trigger yet and she said its really not that much to which I said, well £2000 is quite a bit at which point she freaked out and said she thought it was $500 for the bass!

Anyway, permission revoked and I know I should be responsible with my money so unfortunately, and my heart aches to say it, I'm out of this one :bawl:

I've had a similar misunderstanding with my wife, but she didn't realize the price discrepancy until the bass got to the front door and she noticed the hole in our savings account. Painful memory for me...

Congratulations! This is certainly one of the prettiest basses I've ever seen. I thought about getting it even though I have too many 5s as it is!
