Really hate to sell this.....love this bass! but need the money pretty bad! Custom shop pretty much nailed the perfect P bass here! the neck is really amazing! 60 jazz 1.5 neck..its so broken in and comfy! The last owner told me it was a special order from Fender in burgundy mist metallic and the jazz neck...It came with a badass on it and the vintage bridge in the case...I put the vintage bridge back on and the bass lost a half lb! right around 8.5 now. 2250 shipped.

As for trades I would have to be blown away since I really dont even want to sell this and kind of need the money.....but you can attempt to blow me away!

This is pretty much my dream bass. Do you know if it was a one off custom built for someone, or part of a series?
I rarely see a P bass with a 1.5 nut width

I got it from the original owner...he told me it was a custom order in color matching head and jazz neck.

If anyone has seen this bass on ebay that is not me!! and they do not have this bass!! I keep contacting ebay and they wont do anything about it!! They keep telling me give him the benefit of the doubt....I said you dont understand this is a one of a kind custom shop bass...he cant own this bass! he stole the pics and my ad from CL!!! here is the CoA of this bass!!

yes its around 8.5 now....might be even a little less I dont know exactly but its not very heavy. I have a jazz bass thats 8.5 I would say its the same if not a tad lighter. The badass makes it like a half pound heavier.
Its relicd from the custom shop look at the certificate pic.

Silly question maybe but to the custom shop basses have the graphite rods in the neck?

Yeah I was going to let you know I have seen it on eBay for a dumb low price, I knew it was a scam. There is a LA guy who sells lots of CS basses and is a member here and someone has been stealing his CL photos and posting them at low prices on eBay, freaking jokers.

That's me (my basses/CL listings). I have seen those listings/pics reproduced on eBay, but always and only once the listings show a sold status. Never when active. I really, really hope no one has lost money on the scam.

This burgundy mist CS bass is a treasure. I hope someone snatches it up.

What pickups? Are the tuners reverse or standard? And by the way, one very sweet looking bass! Been jonesing for one this color since I saw Geddy pull one out this last tour for "Jacob's Ladder".

reverse tuners....I am not sure but I think they are handwound custom shops. they are by far t he clearest P bass picksups I have ever owned! they have the P bass fullness but stand out in a crisp clear kinda way! I have owned maybe 200 basses in the last few years...and this one is on the never sell list...but I have no choice! I have to sell to have some money for the winter! I really really hate to get rid of it! but I am gonna be down to one or 2 basses soon!
