SOLD!!!

I know it gets said a lot, but this one is really regretful. The only thing that gets in the way of me playing it is the 35" scale, as eventually I decided I am a 34" scale player strictly. Out of two case queens that I have, this one is the first to go and not sure that I even want to hold on to the other one since I don't gig it. Which is truly sad for something I was so pumped about. What can I say, priorities change over time.

This is a 5 Roscoe Thunderbird. They don't make many of these but they are truly awesome instruments. Mahogany body, ebony board, one piece flame maple top. This has Nordstrand Big Singles and an Audere preamp, and really has a ballsy sound to it. It would throw the tone in your face no problem. Weight is 10 lbs 1 oz. 19mm string spacing by request. This is my original thread for it.

Price is 2800 shipped in the lower 48 states of the US. I am going to say it is in near mint shape although I can't find a mark. It was gigged once and that was it. If you got the cajones for it, it's truly worth it.

Wow!!! This is an amazing looking bass. Would love to have something like this made one day in a 6 string form with the same specs as my #6363.

Holy frijoles, that's awesome!!!! String spacing?

String spacing is 19mm by request.

This truly is one of kind and Gard hooked me up well which kind of makes me feel like a jerk selling it, but literally the few times I thought about busting it out the scale length was what held me back. Price is firm and is a killer deal as it was a good bit more and you'll basically get a near new bass. Not really into partial trades, unless it would be easy to make all of that money back quick. I have a primary gigging bass.

I can tell you that this thing is a beast, really grindy (I'd probably drop an OBP-3 in it if it were in my stable, but otherwise - yowza! :hyper: ), plays great (if you are used to the body style and where it hangs....which is why it feels like it does to the OP - hey, Leo!!!), and what a looker!

If I could afford it, I'd have it's twin, because it's so

;)

Good luck with the sale man...

Heh, they do EXCEPT I'm not even sure that is safe. It's another case queen and weird enough, that bass made me get over GAS pretty much altogether. So now between the bass I gig all the time (my Gadow) and an older R bass that I have, I kind of don't want anything.

I do know that if I do sell the Fodera eventually, there is one of two basses I'd put an order in for, one of them being a 34" scale Roscoe. Their necks really are fantastic, and they are fantastic people.
