These don't get much attention around here, but after taking the chance, I really think they should
First impressions- Niiiicceeee
All tube, dual 6550 power section. baxandall-esaque 2 band filter EQ with presence control for power amp (which actually works as advertised). Physically, it mimics the classic B15 layout as well, but in a modern head enclosure. Built in DI, but was noisy when I was trying to record it, probably a power/grounding issue. First half of the volume gives you a clear, well, classic sound that sounds B15 ish. Cranking it up, gets a nice rock sound around noon, which seems like it'll be the perfect level for sitting nice in a mix on stage, With the AT mic, I had to back way off on the bass control, and I forgot and left it there for the rest of the demos. So there is plenty of low end on tap. Came with the Classic 410 cab (tweeter, ported) which sounds quite nice, can't wait to get it up on my 2x15
EDIt: Listened to Reverbnation clips, effing wireless dropped some of the uploads, I'll have to try again form a hardwired compy. But they still sound pretty good, just end abruptly
