do a search for tube vs solid state..

i'm not usually a search nazi but this subject has been beaten to death....and beaten to death in the afterlife...then beaten during re-incarnation....then beaten again

Sorry didn't mean to beat it with another ugly stick on it's way to hell but I did the search on it and nothing came up that's why I put this poll up.

I chose solid state as my amp is a Gallien Krueger 1001RB but I once played at a gig through another guy's Ampeg SVT CL with Ampeg 8x10 and that was a great sound too! :)
The natural tube compression took some of the attack away when I used my pick but it was sweet nonetheless.

I like both...and at the moment, it looks like Semiconductors and Thermionics are neck 'n' neck! ;)
