Nice video Mr. Hump. I just wonder if the Proteus gets lost in a band setting like the Gyroscope does? I love step Phasers but the Gyroscope is my only experience with one. Although this is a step Filter I guess....

DeltaRiseFromTheAshes - yah. i never used the envelope filter live, but last band i was in we did a cover of Deftone's Root with me, drums and a keyboardist. i used the Proteus to fake the skankin' guitar part on the more mellow parts (then fuzz for DAYYYYYS on the heavy parts! SO fun!), and i have a friend that's a nerd about toanz too that watched us. he said it sounded really cool. dug it in recordings too.

but against 2 distorted loud guitar players? maybe? that's always a tough situation to be in.
