Yes, it is totally a METAL bass. Since a lot of the design came from the customer, he is totally fine with it "hurting" if played sitting down. Definitely something new to my design styles to say the least.

Cool for it's genre! I think it needs a touch more pointiness to the headstock. Like maybe just a deeper concave curve at the top end, and maybe just that one edge rounded over to recall the curve at the butt below the bridge.

you should bring the headstock to a sharp point like the fingerboard,,for protection of course

Yep - match the headstock's front end to the body's. Nice.

I made the full size template. I may have to modify the neck pocket area to create more space for attaching the neck.

Well, it seems the body is most of the way done. I had to add the wenge accent stripes to get the bubinga wide enough.

In case you didn't notice, the original rendering has been updated with the new headstock as requested by the customer. Now it is really a weapon!
