A question about a Warwick...

What's that little switch on the Streamer Jazzman series for? I remember fiddling around with it, trying to figure out exactly what it does. I could hear an obvious change in tone, but I don't know what it actually DOES.

Someone please enlighten me?

I think it's a coil switch for the MM pickup.

I was on the Warwick website & you could see the switch but it didn't say anything about a switch.

Just like all our other "Jazzman" basses, the Streamer "Jazzman" has a large-pole, humbucking pick-up in the bridge position and a J-style pick-up in the neck position. if it's what i think - the switch goes between series, parallel, and single coil for the humbucker - just like the MM sterling and 5string stingray.

yes yes, I see...
Now if only they imported more than just streamers. Not that I have anything against them, I just wish I could try out a few other Warwicks around here. Maybe they've got some more variety at some of the other branches...

hey Sheep Man,

that switch on the Streamer Jazzman toggles the pickups between, Humbucker in series, Humbucker in parallel and Humbucker + J in series (me think. might be HB+J in parallel).
