Power Supply Question

Hey all, I'm looking to purchase a power supply because I'm tired of having to buy new 9V batteries. I have the following pedals which have 9V in jacks: HBE Hematoma, MXR Carbon Copy, EHX Bass Big Muff, Digitech Bad Monkey, Dunlop 105Q. I also have an EHX Q-Tron+ which needs 24V of power. I'm receiving a Polish Love OD in the mail and I'm building a BYOC optical compressor as well, so that's two more 9V pedals. I also plan to get an EHX Stereo Electric Mistress, an EBS OctaBass, a SansAmp VT Bass, and either a MXR Phase 90 or an HBE Psilocybe in the near future. What would be the better option for powering these pedals, buying a powered pedal board, buying a power brick, or using one (or more?) 1 Spot daisy chains and keeping a power strip on my board to power those and the Q-Tron+? I'd like to keep this as cheap, but as reliable as possible, so if it means spending $150, I would be willing to. The main problem with buying a brick, though, is powering the Q-Tron, because none seem to have a 24V output. It seems to me my best option would be a 1 Spot daisy chain and possibly add another when I accumulate more pedals. About how many pedals can a 1 Spot power? Thanks for the help!

The Voodoo Labs PP2+ sounds like a great idea, but can it power my Q-Tron+? If I got something like a PP2 or a different power supply box, I'd need it to power everything, because I wouldn't want to have to keep it and a power strip on to power the Q-Tron. Although, I guess I could buy a pedalboard and mount the power strip underneath...

Are the two 12V outputs the L6 outputs? There is also a message on Musician's Friend saying that EHX recommends the Stereo Electric Mistress only be used with the AC adapter that comes with it and that others could damage the unit. It's a 9.6VDC/200mA AC adapter. Can the PP2+ safely power this pedal? Finally, can each 9V output be daisy chained to power multiple pedals? Or can each output only power one pedal? Oh, and I just saw a courtesy AC jack on the back of the PP2+. Can I just plug my Q-Tron's adapter into it to power it? Thanks

1. VooDoo PP2 has 4 ouputs that can do either 9V or 12V (outputs 1-4), 2 outputs that can do 9V at 250mA regulated or unregulated (outputs 5 and 6) and 2 outputs that can run from 4v to 9V (outputs 7 and 8). There are dip switches on the bottom to change the voltages on 1-4, regulated or unregulated on 5-6, and 9v or sag voltage on 7-8. You can combine any two outputs to add voltages together with the proper cable. You can reverse polarity on any of the outputs with the proper cable. The only thing it has trouble with are really high draw pedals (digitech whammy).

2. EHX says you are going to break all their pedals if you don't use their special adapter. Make sure your operating voltage is within 10%, and that the polarity is good and the worse thing that will happen is you wont have enough power to run it. No damage to pedal. Occasionally EHX has a pedal that doesn't play nice with others despite good voltage and polarity (Bass Blogger) and then you will have to run it on its own output (if the Blogger is on output 1, then nothing else can be daisy chained on output 1).

3. Yes, you can just plug your QTron PS into the courtesy outlet, but it isn't necessary if you get the right cable.
