New pedal, classic sound, modern control. SG Bass, flatwound strings, neck pickup, overdrive channel on the Muff, classic 60's overdrive:

I tried this pedal side-by-side with the Bass Big Muff, and compared to the BBM, the loss of low end was drastic, which is why I didn't buy it. But the Fuzz sounds great on it. i think it is better suited for guitar than bass.

I got to fiddle with one of these today. I liked the overdrive side a little better than the distortion. The distortion seemed to have a tendency to loose the low end where the overdrive's tone knob kept it pretty beefy. I really kind of liked it, although I didn't really get too much of a feel for all the knobs. I'm curious how similar the Germanium Overdrive is to the OD side of this puppy.
