^^ the Valenti head is i think one of the nicest if not the best looking headstock out on the market, plus pull out a valenti at a gig and theres just something personal about it. A bass built for you by a great guy/bass player.

I haven't got one but im saving :hyper:

Both headstock's are fine! Now BTTOT

If getting the Sadowsky sound was as easy as slapping in a set of pickups and pre into a body, I'd by as SX and be done with it. If you want the Sadowsky sound buy one of Rogers basses, the "Sadowsky thing" is the sum of the parts and workmanship.

If you want a very good Jazz bass with improved components, call Nino. His workmanship is more consistent then the custom shop, he offers a ton of options. His product is certainly comparable to Mike Lull and at this point his basses are amongst the best values in the world of bass playing especially if you know the pick-up/pre options you want to go with.

Basses like Celinder and Sadowsky are different beast, they have their own sound and the only way to go if you want THAT sound. Basses like Valenti's, Mike Lull's are basically pro modded Jazz basses and in Nino's case they are at prices (for now) that are almost cheaper then if you did it yourself.
