PRICES STARTING AT £3200!!![]()
Do the Wals have a distinctive sound or something that justifies thier price?
Considering the starting price of almost $5000 US, the Wals do not look like anything special. IMO, there are $3000 basses that look way better.

ya very distinctive tone. Huge Midrange punch and growl, they sound very unique.Considering the starting price of almost $5000 US, the Wals do not look like anything special. IMO, there are $3000 basses that look way better.

i wonder what this will do to the value of the "pre-2009" instruments. ( kinda like the pre-cbs fenders)
-and to the guy who asked about the tone..... wals are NOT famous for the way they look
Cool, but that slogan is just awful... "The Sound of Electric Wood"
I would love to have a Wal someday.
