This is a bass that I'm building for TB's own Nick Man. The features of the bass are:

-Alder Body
-Maple Neck with Pau Ferro Fretboard
-Sherwood Green Finish with Matching Headstock
-Chrome hardware
-HipShot Ultralite Tuning Keys
-Gotoh Quick release bridge
-EMG 40P5 in neck position
-EMG 40TWCS in bridge position (can be switched from Humbucker to Single Coil J)
-Vintage Style with Mint Green Pickguard
-Aguilar OBP-1 with a Passive Tone Control
-24 Fret Neck

The control layout for the bass are:
1-Master Volume
2-Pickup Blend
3-Treble with push/pull for Humbucking/Single Coil J
4- Stacked Pot with Bass on top & Passive Tone on the bottom.

Since Warmoth dosen't make a pickguard for this bass, I made one myself. I messed up on the 1st one while I was bevelling (sp?) it:

Unfortunately, there was a mix-up when I placed the order & Warmoth made a 5 in-line as opposed to 4+1 that I order. A quick phone call cleared it up but I have to wait a little longer for the correct neck.

This is the 1st bass that I'm building using the 24 fret extension so I'll let you know when it;s done.

Oh and as for the color, I couldnt have done it without help from TB!

Im not sure if you remember, but I was stuck on a few different ones and I posted a poll. I dont think this came out on top, but your advice was a big part of it.

Before I attached the pickguard, I measured from the edge of the neck heel to the center of the pickup cavity. Then after I arrached the pickguard, I drilled a hole at that center point into the PG & then I used my Drill Press with a bit that has a... ummm..... guide (?, it's late & i'm ready for bed. :)) so I would dut the p/g & not into the body.
