At Mal's place in Underwood, across from Hood River on the Washington side. Directions will be provided to thread respondees via PM.

Afternoon, all ages. Dog & cat hair warning applies so if you're allergic, bring your med's ...

Food - a pot of chilli and something else for the non-hot 'n spicy crowd. Other than water, let's go with a BYOB - I drink the lightest watery impersonation of beer available which most of my friends won't touch ... so you're on your own there.

Large / Loud rigs will end up in my garage. I'll lay carpet and stoke the heat. Maybe even de-rattle if I get time.

Smaller stuff in the house.

We'll have some setup for testing the various front end devices we have and also a ProTools rig available if you want to record samples of stuff.

Craig Wilson of the White Salmon Guitar Company will likely stop by and be available for setup consultation - he's a great luthier - Sunday is his day off though so his time may be a little tight.

Pete Biltoft of Vintage Vibe Guitars - a fabulous pickup builder will probably be around as well - If you've ever wondered bout that wierd and wonderful pickup - he's the guy to ask ...

OK -That's all I remember from the other thread.

PM me for further deets if you need them!
L8R, dudes!

I can help with the garage prep a day or two ahead of time if you like Mal. I have a substantial rattle maker available for testing, of course. Or maybe you like your house the way it is?

There are three excellent brewpubs just off I-84 in downtown Hood River, pretty much right on the way to Mal's for most of you: Double Mountain, Full Sail, and the one at Horsefeathers, Big Horse Brewpub. All of 'em sell growlers to go...;)

Color me there.

I'll be showing off the new Mouse. It'll take some serious meds but it'll be cool for everyone to paw her. She remembers to go home with the one that brought you. ;)

I'm on the prowl for a small cab to match the above so I'd be interested in another small cab/ low volume shoot out. In fact, I hesitated and lost out on a Wizzy 12 on the classifieds as I wanted to hear some more cabs before I decided.:bawl:

There's a local guy coming who wants to do the same kind of shootout. I'm pretty sure he'll be bringing his upright, but I'll let you know if not. Anyone who has a good piezo preamp, please bring that too.

Hey guys thanks for the PM heads up on this as I had missed the thread. I am going to try to make it. I just recently bought a Shuttle Max 12.0 after my BX 500 took a dump. I would be happy to bring it up if there's any interest. Also if anyone hasen't played a Fender Road Worn PB I could bring one.
If anyone has a high quality LIGHT weight 5 string for sale bring it I am very interested. By light weight I mean at or under 8 lbs. If you have something interesting PM me and I could have cash in hand.
If this is going to be Potluck please let us know.

peace Kirk

Hey,
Please bring that 12.0. I'm going to bring my rack (should I bother with my Avatar 4x10 anyone?) and would like to A/B a 12.0 to it!

I'll be there; I'm angling to get another local bassist to ride along. I'll have a Barker Brio sans peizo to A-B with Mal's, a different Barker (undecided which one), GB 6.0 with the GB 112 lashed below it, and, should Fedex be on time, my new AudioKinesis ThunderChild. Also I have an Ampeg BSE115T for sale for $200; if anyone is interested, I can bring it along.

This will be a cool day. I'm sad for those of this group that can't make it. Darn, we'll just have to do it again soon...

ThunderChild has arrived! Thank you Duke and Mr. Fedex.

This makes the preparation for the GTG all the more critical. Shine my shoes, make sure my tie knot is a Windsor, properly folded handkerchief in the jacket pocket, carry the gloves, don't wear them...
