I'd like to start off part 10 with an introduction to the Trinity. This has been my winter project as a tribute to Marcus...SX style. It's my 4 string fretted and fretless and 5er. Tell me what you think.

I think those are very cool.
I love the Ash/Natural look.

I recently picked up this one (the white p/g one on the left):

After I tweaked it to the way I like it, I then thought about sending it back, because I thought that it'd would only take away playing time from the one next to it, which I've had for three years or so, and I absolutely love.
But seeing your pics..........and some other pics from multiple ash/natural owners on the previous (part 9) thread.....has definitely got me thinking maybe I'll hang on to it.

EDIT- I still take crappy pictures. :(

What a way to kick off Version 10.0 of the SX club!

I was never a natural bass fan, then I got my SX. And then my Squier VM. I ended up selling the SX as I never played it anymore, but really do mist the fine grain pattern on the body of the SX.

I am half arsed thinking of pickling up another Natural SX for the body grain and taking the neck of another VM and mating the SX body, Squier neck and then a shootout to see which electronics stay on board. I think the SX body, Squier Neck SX pups and Squier pots and cap might be fun.... Then I would have another magnum franken-bass!

And that being done I would have my current Stock VM jazz painted CA Red!

Hi All! Thanks for all the kind words. I have to give a lot of credit to this thread and all its contributers.

So THAT'S where they all went, you bastard!!
I can has one? :)

hahaha just kidding :D

I did get lucky with picking these up. The 5 string showed up on the Rondo site right around Christmas time. I think I was viewing the site early one Saturday morning and there it was. The fretless LTD was a B stock that has a discoloration on the 12th fret marker, got it for half price. I was bummed when I missed the ash body P bass that one of us TB'ers grabbed last week(you can't win them all). Still on the look out so beware.:ninja:

So you're the one who ruined my Christmas, lol. Just kidding! :D
I never even saw it at the time. Love that 5-string w/white blocks - actually, they're all great! Nice collection - Congrats. :)
This is what I get for poking my head out of the bushes...LOL there is something to be said about lurking. I have been following all of you for the past year or so and it is nice to hear your comments. I guess I'm hooked
