That is true, but if you were getting paid what snoop pays his touring group, you wouldn't be able to resist all of them bass goodies.
I bet the FOH guy LOVES trying to fit that into the mix
One that note, anyone know if there is truly a phase issue in a larger venue when there is a massive backline setup like this and a FOH system several meters out in front of it and if so, how its dealt with?

yes there are phase issues, even with smaller backline rigs.
you simply delay the foh system the appropriate amount of milliseconds to fire when the backline sound reaches the mains.
and if you think that rig is big, you wimps that think it's unnecessary should see what he puts on his side of the stage for the main rig...
Haha, I love how when stuff like this is posted everyone starts complaining about necessity and phase issues.
If I were playing for a big name, you bet your stars I'd have a huge and unnecessary rig... especially if I was being endorsed. Who cares if it makes the FOH guys life a living hell? This isn't some cover band where the sound guy is making beans... I'm sure the FOH guy for Snoop Dog is paid quite well for his duties.

I have a feeling that only one or "Maybe" two of those stacks and heads are used and the others are there for Looks or as a backup. Really..if they use IEM's...But I bet it sounds killer either way!
