Thanks for posting this! I remember last year when I saw the Alleva booth pictures and thought... oh boy, I need one of those.

The booth looks fantasitc. I see Tommix's beauty there, and that 'Marcus inspired' natural ash looks killer!

Fantastic stuff... Jimmy has been busy!

That Fiesta Orange is killing me. I've been putting together some specs. Anyone know what the current build time/upcharge for the brazillian rosewood?

I've only ever owned one five string, but I'm trying to round out the stable. I wonder if I should go for a five or a four?

Oh tax refunds, you're my favorite time of the year.

I thought that dark blue one with the silver knobs was Jairaj's Nordy for a second, I love that look! Jimmy's basses look so nice, I'd love to try one. That fiesta red/salmon pink one is amazing!

I called the shop today and there is a good chance that I may be picking up that sunburst LM5. I believe it is in the back row, barely visible. I can see the maple board poking out though.

Btw, I called the shop a few times in the past, and no matter who answered the phone, or how much of a PITA I was being, I was always treated with respect and in a friendly, personable manner. A+ so far on customer service.

to add some more positive comments about jimmy and the kind of operation he is running...

i have a 78/79 fender jazz. i brought it to him and he took the time to verify age of each part of the bass and give me advice on the bass and didn't ask for a penny. super solid and knowledgeable. if only everyone i deal with is that cool...i'd NEVER stop smiling.

Man, that booth was fantastic.

I have to say that if I was not a P guy, after playing those KP5s for a while I came away thinking that I may be after all;)
They were great.

Nice to see people.. and talk shop with you too Kirk.
I'll post some pics when I get home next week.

Cheers,
M
