For those of you not familiar, this is the cover to Black Sabbath's first album.

Printed picture. Affixed it to a spare pickguard I bought just incase I messed up. Applied 10 coats of clear enamal.

what exactly did you print that onto? (cheap paper? something nicer?)


I used regular printer paper (photo paper would probably be even better) and some spray adhesive. Best thing to do is to spray the pickguard and drop it on the picture then trim very carefully with a razor blade. I then coated it with many coats of spray clear enamal (Rustoleum) that dries quickly.
 
Done purposely, I wanted the figure (whatever that is) to be standing straight when the bass is in the playing position, otherwise she would be tilted. I had to make a tough decision, I'm happy with it.
