In ear systems for a whole band?

Ok, cool, so we only need too buy seperate body packs and that is all? Do they need to be calibrated?

You'll need to make sure that everything is operating in the same frequency band (easy enough...and obviously is the same make / model). Set them to the same actual frequency, and off you go!

No different from having multiple people listening to the same radio station.

IMO: Spend some decent money and get a system equal to or better than a shure PSM200 and then invest in good earplugs. $500 retail, $450 on ebay.

Additional packs are around $275.

I just started using the Future Sonics Artrio M5. Around $180 on ebay, $200 retail.

Cheaper systems will give tons of hiss, Carvin and Nady as examples.

Cheaper ear buds will discourage you esp. bass players and drummers.

I can put my 5 string bass in mine and not use an amp.
