Lakland Skyline series has taken it's quality to another level.

I have seen a batch of the new Lakland Skylines that recently came in and this is what I walked away with.

1.

The weight is now closer to the US series.

2.

Attention to detail is now much better than before.

3.
The prices will not be changing.

There is much more but I can't say at this point.

Consistency in quality is one of the main reasons I endorse Lakland.

Stop that right now, Jauqo, I've got the antidote!

I haven't been seeing Laklands lately. I keep wanting to try one, but none of the big guys seem to have them in stock (I haven't checked 48th street, I refuse to go there) here in NYC.

Unfortunately, my only first hand Lakland experience has been negative.

I went to 48th in August--Rudy's and Sam Ash had maybe one Lakland each, IIRC. So you're not missing much.

Glad to hear their stepping things up.

I've had 2 experiences and neither have been overwhelming.

My 44-02 sounded decent but had wonderful preamp noise and a lackluster finish (drip marks and such)

The DJ4 I played weighed 4000lbs and the action was way way way to high even with a good setup.

I've def. been open to giving em another shot with the new "quality" standards.

Any idea when the next "batch" will be in circulation?
