Anybody have this monster the Bugera BTX 36000
aka "The NUKE". The 3600 + watts seems like it would cause a earthquake. It retails for only $879.99 Hmmmm !

Musicians Friend.... unless you wanted to invested in two or three full stacks, i wouldnt recommend it. Also, it could put out an entire block's electricity.

Don't believe the hype..................

Those quoted wattage rates are not even possible from 120 volts. Thats why they quote Peak watts instead of RMS (and at a high THD rate).

You want power - get a Carvin B1500

I once bought a car stereo for $30.00, it said on the box 1000 watts. Also had 20ga power leads, hey my friends daughter made a sale what can I say. Looked good after target practice.

Which reminds me: what about an amp designed around 220VAC? More power is possible, right?

Sure it's possible, but connecting to the speakers would be the next problem.

Best guess 600 watts RMS per channel (based on 18 amp circuit breaker from the manual). BTW the maximum power CONSUMPTION is 3600 watts, not the "peak to peak" (useless rating) output power, that claim (3600 watts)dropped when you choose english (became 2500 watts). I figured around 60% effic.

Still a cool looking head though...looks like they are moving on to copying Ampeg rather than Ashdown and Hartke....

This is news to me. Interesting though. Buddy of mine plays through a Bugera 333 and we could never get a decent tone out of it.
