The power available from a typical 15A 110v outlet is about 1650 watts. Multiply that by the amp's efficiency, which is at best 90%, and that's how much power the amp can deliver, best case. This assumes that said amp has that 15A 110v outlet all to itself.
Only if you have a 220 outlet to plug into.Which reminds me: what about an amp designed around 220VAC? More power is possible, right?
