i put money down on this today and i'm pickin it up tomorrow. this thing is absolutely amazing it's incredible it sounds so good. here's a picture for now from the store i'll take more when i get it tomorrow

it was some new schecter...i didn't play it but it was pretty cool lookin it caught my eye.
Uber-score. Usually am hating the white pickups but it looks like these have mellowed with age and just really work with the overall package.
Where did you get this? Looks like they have some nice inventory. Way too new and nice of stuff to be a pawnshop, clearly.

Guitar center judging by the tag on the amp behind it. The pickups aren't original, but even then, $920 is a great price.
I've played those before, great feel. I'm planning on getting an all maple P neck from Warmoth for my Squier J, just because they have such a clean look.
Anyways, original pickup or not you got a score........ the only two I've seen retailed above $1600!

I spy a Stargazer Bass... wouldn't mind picking one up. Pales in comparison to the steal you just got, my friend.
also, that bass was around $600 when i saw it about a week ago... hope they didnt raise the price just before you bought it. either way, thats a killer deal on a killer bass!
Not an especially great deal, but not a rip-off either. That pickup is probably a DiMarzio Model P added in the late 70s or early 80s. Not original. I love those maple fingerboarded fretless P basses.
