Ok I see your point but I would suggest when you demonstrate the exercice do it without the C string and then on applying the concept further use it.

Just my opinion,

Yes but a vast majority of players are still using 4 strings bass and to me the fingerings and positions on the videos won't make sense to them. Just my opinion that's all!

Just another quicky...
I've had some emails concerning the downloadable PDF i promised which isn't posted up there yet. It will be up there by Monday, i've just got a crazy schedule at the moment so it's tough fitting it all in. That'll have some good examples of the continuous arpeggio exercises and will be written out for 4 string.

I can't thank you enough Scott for this particular lesson on Arpeggio's.

I've gotten my mind twisted up into a pretzel on what fundamental concepts that i should spend time on.

Although having the ability to create, and stay in a deep 'pocket' is paramount, note selection, with these arpeggio's, is a close second for me, as they give off an immediate vocabulary which isn't scalish sounding.
