For all you VT Bass lovers out there...or maybe you don't have a VT Bass pedal and this would interest you...I don't know.

IMO they should have made the thing a mini-amp instead of making it full rack size. I'm assuming cost...but come on. VT bass pedal plus some extra eq guts + a 300 watt class D amp = smart move to compete! I'm not talking GK MB size or Genz Benz Shuttle size...make the thing Markbass LMIII size and you've got a winner.

I think they saw an opportunity and pounced on it as quick as possible. They took the Landmark platform and put the VT in the preamp, or just made whatever amount of changes are necessary to change the Landmark preamp section into the VT if they were already fairly similar. Not a lot of overhead for releasing a new product that incorporates features of another that's already very popular. As hugely popular as Tech21 is with pedals and rack gear for bass though they've never really taken off with heads, so we'll see how it pans out. Could be really great sounding and a blockbuster for them, could get discontinued in a year.

At any rate until it's up for sale somewhere and there's some sound clips/videos and/or reviews it's just a Landmark 300 with a different color face.
