Here is a killer deal on a beautiful Martin Keith "Elfin" Fretless 5 String Bass.
I am only letting it go because I’m just not that comfortable with 33 inch scale. I have also discovered that I don’t have as many opportunities to play fretless as I thought I would. This is a phenomenal instrument for anyone who’s serious about playing fretless.
You don't see these basses very often on the used market. There is a reason for that!
Very lightweight and extreamly easy to play.....
It delivers a very nice, warm organic fretless tone that can be easily dialed in by blending both the Piezo and Magnetic pickups.
Virtually "Mint" condition with only very minor wear on the fingerboard.
-33” scale lined fretless w/ ebony extended fingerboard
-Mahogany body w/burl walnut top
-Nordstrand BigSplitMan magnetic pickup and GraphTech piezo saddles
-volume/blend/tone controls
-17 mm bridge spacing
-Oil finish
- 7 pounds 5.8 ounces (on my digital scale)
Beautiful condition, minimal wear. Has not been played a great deal.....however it is missing the truss rod cover. I spoke with Martin about this and he said he would provide a replacement at no charge.
I will split "actual" shipping cost in the CONUS. I use the "Pirate Ship" shipping service so the cost will be much more reasonable than UPS Ground retail. Gig bag included.
I will "consider" trades but much prefer an outright sale. Thanks for looking!
