Favourite breakfast.

On our yearly excursion to Ocean City Md. we found a little hole in the wall called Sandys on the boardwalk around 13 th st. For about four or five years , our daily breakfast was eggs benedict and one (sometimes two) of their very well made bloody marys. Sadly ,the last time we went down , the place had closed up. We found a couple of places that do a great S.O.S. and make pretty good bloody marys , but no one that we have found yet does the eggs benedict. We'll be heading down again in June to continue the search.

Now that you changed the title, mine would be chicken fried steak with over medium eggs, crispy hashbrowns, sourdough toast, and that same lovely diner coffee.

Exactly the same for me except I prefer poached eggs. I add a little Tabasco to the hashbrowns.

'er indoors and I once went to a restaurant for a champagne brunch. They served the most delicious shrimp soufflé omelet, with capers, olives, bell peppers, sour cream, and shallots.
She asked if I could reverse engineer the recipe as she wanted it again.
I make it for her for special occasions, but use langoustine tails in place of shrimp.
It scores BIG points.

A couple of years ago, I made eggs benedict at home. Once I saw how much oil went into the hollandaise, I vowed never to make it again :) But I still love it and order it as an indulgence every now and then.

There's a diner here in Montreal that does a smoked meat benedict (with, yes, smoked meat in place of the Canadian bacon), and it's amazing. But definitely a meal that requires a long nap after.
There's a cafe in Del Mar, California that makes a stunning beef tri-tip Benedict.

Favorite: Lox and bagel, cream cheese. With tomato and thinly sliced red onion.
No capers. Capers with lox are an abomination (says so somewhere in Leviticus).

Usual (and much enjoyed):
2 slices of cheese (protien) along with
Sliced apple (or peach depending on the season, or sometimes banana) with almond butter on toast.
FTW!

A nice slice of sourdough skillet toasted, with a hole in the middle big enough to contain a sunny side up egg. A couple good sections of conecuh smoked sausage and a big glass of ice cold 2% milk. I no longer have the luxury of enjoying this breakfast as i’m working on another 30 pounds that have to go.

That's similar to one of my favourites I use smoked salmon, cream cheese, fresh dill, and tomatoes when they're in season.

My favourite, in a similar vein to eggs benedict, is mustard cheese toast (equal parts whole grain mustard and mayonnaise spread on bread then covered with cheese and toasted until golden brown,) topped with thick cut back bacon, and an egg fried up.

I’m allergic to eggs so that really limits the menu. I make a killer stuffed hash brown casserole with sautéed onions, peppers, cheese, and bacon. That and a Mimosa would be heaven.

Oh my word, that sounds great. I'd maybe even add a jalapeno or habanero in there. Imagine it with sour cream on top too.
I don't have an egg allergy, but I would be just fine not eating them.

Quick?

Quaker Old Fashioned Oats nuked in water or almond milk. Cut up a banana in it. Big dollop of natural crunchy peanut butter on the side of the bowl. Get a little dab of PB in the spoon before each spoonful of oats and nanners.

Yummy.
